For the budget tourist, it is a very good value hotel. Toilet is much better than a lot of 3 or 4 stars hotel(like best western) Bed sheet and towels are exceptional clean(not the carpet floor though) Remember request stay at the back, and not on the first floor, trust me, I did stay in different floors. Hotel stafffs are really helpful.
carpet is old, but you can try to request wooden floor room. Stay at the back side and not on the first floor....
My new choice at Milano
We are travelling on a budget and this is one of the nicer hotels we've been able to stay in. Comfy bed, nice clean bathroom, wifi, and good location close to Central Station (which is what we needed). Parking available for 15 euro a night, which we found was cheap by Milan standards.
Breakfast is not included in the price.
close to central station, reception staff & house keeping staff was very helpful, nice rooms, TV with international programs
Huge No-Go is that you have to leave your key card at the reception every time you leave to hotel, but not once was I asked for my name or whatever when they gave me the card back. Literally everyone could have stepped into my room without anyone noticing. Change this!!!
Close to railway station, clean and comfortable, free wifi is important, very good value for money.
great location, very close to Central Station, walking distance to city, safe area
- wi-fi not working in our room - poor drainage in the sink and bath tub - room did not have a bath rope nor tee-kettle as promised - heating did not work as it should have - the hotel provided extra blanket on request - tv channels only in italian with constant interruptions to the signal
Position, price, bathroom are quite good.
The receptionists are rude and not very polite. I checked in before 11 and I politely asked if I could find my luggage in the room but instead they left them unattended in the hall until I came back to the hotel. They speak an horrible english and seems they are very lazy. Be careful with the new Milan tax...2 Euros per day each person.
The hotel is comfortably located to the main train station and if you plan to visit other cities rather just staying in Milano than its very convenient. The room we stayed in was not big, but it was clean and in a quiet neighborhood. I would really recommend the hotel to those who plan to travel from Milan to the closest cities. The city center itself is quite far from the hotel
It is a really nice hotel and friendly staff ;) I like the cleanses of the hotel and its location which is near to the train station They r so kind and honest staff, Internet is available in the entire hotel Thank u to all the staff specially the lovely , pretty lady working in the desk for her nice smile ;)
smallest room i have ever been, very noisy as the room door was exactly opposite the elevator, one could hear everything in the next room.small bed and very hot room, could not turn off heating.the fridge was not on and the tv had only italian channels.definitely not a 4 star hotel, more like a 2 star.
Very close to Milano Centrale, 5 min walk. Staff is friendly.
the room is fairly clean, but lots of big water stains and smudges on the ceiling in the hall and on the wall in the room.
Clean, friendly staff, room well cleaned and maintained.
A bit noisy, tramline in street in front was a bit noisy. Also some of the other guests did make quite a noise on both nights I was there...parquet flooring was a bit noisy i.e. Italian women and their high heel shoes clopping around on floors in other rooms!
hotel itself was quite good. It must have been refurnished recently so the rooms looked much better than what has been described by previous guests.
I have to say living near Milano Centrale rail station was not quite good. the hotel was good however the neighbourhood seemed a little unsafe. 10 min walk from train station was kind of far yet not far enough to take taxi or other transport.
Good price for four star, good location
Breakfast is not free, wifi cannot use in room
Everything seemed very new in room, bath large, quiet considering location. Careful with google maps when identifying coming from Stazione Centrale, directions take you out of way. Ask someone or look carefully at map. Lots of Asian run restaurants in area serving very inexpensive meals, huge portions of good good. Little if any English spoken but friendly attitudes abound so makes it easier.
Some mold in shower, shame since marble and granite. Not big issue but should be dealt with by housekeeping.
